IOM TT 2009 2nd Sidecar race.

I have included images of this event even though it was abandoned due to a serious accident, involviing pre race local favourites Nick Crowe and Mark Cox
I was fortunate enough to choose Quarter Bridge as my vantage point for the 2nd sidecar race so I managed to capture most of the outfits at the start of the race.
Due to the severity of the accident on the approach to Ballaugh the road was damged by fire and the race was abandoned. This required for the 1st time in IOM TT history, that the machines were escorted by the traveling marshalls the reverse way around the course in order to return them to the pits. I have also included images of this unique event.

I also have other images of the outfits pictured either coming into or going out of Quarter Bridge.
