Redcar Blast furnace one of the largest in Europe shot here just before dark. Seen here during the tapping of slag.

A golfer`s eye view of the Corus Blast furnace.

What all the fuss is about this is a what is known as a torpedo, it is full of liquid iron on it`s way to the Lackenby BOS plant to be converted into steel.

I was rushing down to the Gare to catch the sunset but was a bit late and would of missed it, so this is one from the road on the way to the Gare.

A view of the Corus site from the gare road.
